Wine closure  ALVIN

An innovation on our market are special wine closures, which are attested possibility to solve an urgent problem of vintners. The problem is a preservation of resisting quality of wines.

World trend in wine packing may seem to be in the European point of view too courageous. However notable producers of Australian and New Zealand wines have been packed by this way 2/3 of their production for more than 10 years.
Though that their wines have not lost on their sonority and they have been still winning the prestigious awards.



New aluminum closure  “Alvin ”
with the special sealing line, has been tested in the field for more years and wine-testing were made on red and white wines, 1 - 5 years old.
All wines closed by these closures:
  • tasted smoother and were better integrated in aroma, texture and flavor in compare with the same cuvees closed with the traditional cork screw.
  • no bottle variation was confirmed


Advantages of closure "Alvin”:

It eliminates: 
  • cork taint and similar mould flavour, musty aroma, and also others smells after chlorine or cork, bound on various impurities.
  • rapid aging process, the discoloration of white wines, loss of fruit flavour of red wines, wine destruction
  • small defects in purity, shave of texture, reduction of flavour, tamin´s degradation, what was till nowadays refered to be caused by mechanical problems.
Tests clearly confirmed that using a new way of closng wine - screw cap "Alvin" defeated standard cork screw.

  • possibility of repeated closing
  • possibility of adjusting visually to till used thermo valves
  • reducing laboriousness by packing and possibility of immediate manipulation with closed product.
The standard closure format for wine bottling is 30 x 60.
It contains sealing line especially developed for wine, with high measure of tightness and impermeability.
In case customer ´s request is possible to insert also gasket in other format,  closure type with diameter 28 and 31,5 mm.
